Description:
Pyruvate kinase is an enzyme involved in glycolysis. It catalyzes the transfer of a phosphate group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP, yielding one molecule of pyruvate and one molecule of ATP. PDK1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:250 ~ 1000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250.
Applications:
- Catalyzes the transfer of a phosphate group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP
Source:
An allosteric enzyme from Bacillus stearothermophilus.
