| Small RNAs, which include microRNAs (miRNAs) and short interfering RNA (SiRNA), play a variety of roles in biology. miRNAs are very important molecules that regulate protein translation. SiRNA is involved in the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway to interfere with the expression of a specific gene. SiRNA also act in RNAi-related pathways.
